I’m starting with a DLC32 and the use of MKs laser tool.
I managed to configure the displacement and speed of the X and Y motors, I am quite satisfied with the result.
On the other hand I can’t get the X and Y stops to work, they are small hall effect modules used on imp3 (+, GND, E), the diode lights up well when the stop is activated, but the motors continue to run and the home is not validated.
I looked in the config file, without success.
I am looking for the solution to my problem without much success.
I am interested in all information.
Thank you
LMG
I had a problem like that with my laser cutter. The Y motion was inverted. When the motor stops against one of the sensors, it has to move free from the sensor when you step in the other direction. So the sensor has to be be ignored when you move away from it and the motor needs to run until you hit the other sensor. Each direction has its own sensor.
If this problem is the case in your situation, you can either swap the two sensor connectors or invert the motor direction in the settings. I guess the latter is the easiest solution.
