Yep as soon as my phone returns from the land of the dead. It locked up while I was trying to get another testing video uploaded :frowning:

Oh, and if your Y-Axis runs backwards, just flip the JST connector around. I had a 50/50 shot and got it backwards so what you see in the pictures really should have the yellow wire closest to the USB and the red wire closest to the laser bed.

A4988.

Yep, A4988 drivers. Cheap and so far reliable. Like $10 for a pack of 5 on Amazon.

What is the single white wire above??

@Bill_Parker that is the PWM wire that goes from the board to replace the potentiometer on the k40. This is how we get the variable power control of the laser in software so you can get those amazing engravings you may have seen around the group.
