Need to buy some blue PETG where is a good place for good quality PETG besides atomic filament who just emailed me a month after i placed my order to tell me theyre all out -_-
You could try http://MakerGeeks.com I haven’t printed with mine yet, so I can’t give any type of review. Their PLA is all I have been using lately.
How had some bad luck with makergeeks, like shipments a month late, bubbles in the filament, bulges that are 0.5mm above spec.
I get atomic now, but they’re moving locations, so we went for cheap ones like hatchbox and esun. If you can spare it, get taulman or das filament. Also check out Tom’s filaween series.
You know, I thought the very first order I got from MakerGeeks was terrible too. That filament had a bulge/bubble every inch or so. But that was a couple years ago.
When I ordered in November and every spool since has worked great. It made me wonder if I remembered correctly about the first order.
I don’t like how they ship using ups surepost, which ups delivers to your local post office. And I have heard other stories about bad shipments.
Hatchbox worked well for me too, though never tried petg. But they have several good reviews.
I started using eSun PLA and its been great so far. I was told to try their PETG what do you think?
I’ve got esun petg and is fine. I use it at 240/70C and that’s all.
I’ve been using Makergeeks for about 3 months and never had a single issue. Their diameter has been extremely consistent and I now have 15+ kg of their filament.
I’ve used 4 rolls of Makergeeks PETG (each a different color) with no issues - purchased about a year ago I believe.
@Cristian_Martinez rain PETG works well. Had no issues with the microcenter filaments aside from the white PLA. And even that was said to be resolved.
Hatchbox PETG (from Amazon) has worked very well for me.
I tried eSun white PLA and it turned out awesome. Ill definitrly give hatchbox a try!
