Need help. Looking for suggestions on belt fixing and tensioning for a corexy setup im building.

Any details?, sketches?, pictures?, Requirements?

you mean something like this? http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:745934/#comments

A question: Does anyone actually still use T2.5 or T5? Maybe this:

will work. It’s intended for the Ultimaker, but should still work, many use it for the Prusa i3. It isn’t adjustable though, so it may not be enough if your belts are very loose.

i have opened a discussion on reprapforums regarding a design I am doing for an equal tension adjusting system built in the X carriage , you can check it at: http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?344,654822 , at least FIY …

tx guys. I cannot add the tensioner to the line since this will reduce the travel distance. On a coreXY 4 belt ends reach the gantry. There i need to be able to tension each one.

@Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty Though there are 4 ends, there are two belts, one tensioner per belt should do it.

@Miguel_Sanchez agree. Just that I need to attach the 4 end to the gantry slider, so attaching them in a way that I can tension them. The best would be a screw with a 2mm slot in the middle

A contraption that works for me http://thingiverse-production-new.s3.amazonaws.com/renders/46/5f/d0/3f/f2/2014-11-17_14.19.50_preview_featured.jpg

@Miguel_Sanchez interesting, I can build on that. Tx
