Nearly finished my custom Smoothierboard powered Delta printer.

Nearly finished my custom Smoothierboard powered Delta printer. Printed and vapor smoothed the bowden extruder thisafternoon so soon I will be printing some plastic. The video below is of the first test run using a pen instead of a hot end. I could watch the delta run all day. They just look so cool when they are runing. Great looking delta!

Nice work. I need to make an end effector adapter for a pen. That’s a great way to demo the machine. It could also hold a dial indicator, I suppose…

Thanks guys.

Robert, you are spot on wih the dial indicator holder. I am also looking at a rotory tool flexible shaft holder so it can cnc mill, drill pcb boards etc. Being a magnetic effector tool changes very fast.

really nice looking printer

Thanks Brock. Printed the extruder yesterday so getting closer to printing plastic. Still need to make the side covers and door then fit and extraction system.
