My stunningly beautiful E3d-online.com all metal hot end, assembled, mostly plugged in, and run up to 300c for a quick test.

I was going to wait until finals were over to even go this far with it, but I just couldn’t wait any longer.

I even had to modify my firmware’s maxtemp values so I could get it up to the recommended tightening temperature, only to discover that @Sanjay_Mortimer (or some member of the E3D staff who partially assembled my hot ends before shipping them) seemed to have already done the high-temp tightening for me.

I can’t WAIT to get to print with these things!

Ok, just one more thing to add: Ceramic heater cartridges? Amazing things. They heat up so fast. This thing hit 300c without even batting an eye in well under a minute.
