Why not just use octoprint?

Octoprint is a great software. My project is hardware. 3d webfier act like an intelligent wifi - usb bridge. Completely transparent for the sw, from Pc side a virtual com maps the ip address to a serial com up to 250000 kbps.

@Gian_Luigi_Perrella If you just take the next step and make it USB -> IP -> USB, you’d have a very useful general purpose product to sell. I think I’d buy one, at the right price.

@Carlton_Dodd , if i right understood, two 3d webfier make your work. Module is full bi-directional serial over usb and ip, up to 250000kbps. So you can connect your usb device to one module, link the other module via ip address and transfer data to other usb device.

@Gian_Luigi_Perrella Sweet! I’m in. Are you making this for sale, or open-sourcing it? Let me know when it’s available, either way.

May be an open source or a mix. Stay tuned on http://www.pic-ap-board.eu
