You must be using an absolute encoder to keep track of where you are around the wheel and light up the correct section?

@marmil no reference is needed, simply count the pulses to move forward or backward

@Tecnologia_Interacti What are the rotary encoders you are using? I have so far been unable to get fast rotations without the encoder making the value jump to really weird places…
