Modeling clay can be a useful helping hand when needing to hold things, especially odd shaped things, in place while glue sets up. Also great for holding things at just the right angle for photography.
Here I’m using a piece of red modeling clay to hold this propeller, from a yard wind whirler that was snapped of by a falling limb, while some JB weld epoxy sets up. I’ve had this box of crayola clay for probably like 15 years now and it’s always nice to have some on hand.
