It’s not clear that any of the changes in 3.5.0.beta1 are particularly relevant to Maker Forums; the only security issue is one that does not affect us. There is a UI change that is resulting in additional whitespace. I have asked whether this is intentional.

Everything looks fine, same as usual, on my mobile (android/chrome). So probably only desktop users affected

While the update called itself “3.5.0.beta1” it didn’t yet include all the changes officially released as 3.5.0.beta1.
This update has now been applied to Maker Forums.
