If you get tired of dragging the message composer height bar up or down the screen after starting a new topic or comment to post, that should get a bit easier because Discourse will now remember the height you last chose.
The new sidebar interface looks interesting but is still changing. We’re not deploying it yet but we might soon. Please go read this post on meta.discourse.org and join the voices there helping to improve it — there have been some really good ideas so far.
