Made a change to @shauki ​’s excellent ScrewDelta amd @Mauro_Manco ​’s mods to create one piece clamps amd eliminate the upper bearings.

That are part of qr for me , now I need spend my esp4motion board , but other works no permit me that

Maybe. I am actually thinking of extending my clamps to include mount points for acrylic walls and a door. The walls then allow me to mount an OctoPi rig and an LCD controller without modifying the plates. I am currently also planning on puttong the controller there and considering doing this in Smoothie.

What do you think about Smoothie for this? Or is RAMPS preferred?
