Looking for some help on why my brims are getting squished. Using printrbot simple metal with repetier host and slic3r. You can see the outer loops of the brim look fine, but as it gets towards the middle, the lines get bunched together. What often happens is the print head pushes out on the brim as it goes around, breaking the brim loose from the bed. Printing with Cura client does not have the issue, so it’s definitely a config problem. Filament diameter, temp, and layer height settings are the same in cura and RH. Any other ideas?

No its not, the problem its the opposite, the nozzle is to close to the bed, i got this problem at first too, just give to the firdt layer +0.1mm. It may be enough

Thanks to you both. I guess consensus is it’s a Z problem, I will experiment to figure out if it’s too close or too far.

@Alvaro_Rey_Rodriguez It ended up being too close to the bed. +.1mm on the Z was a good call, the brim is looking much better…

 perfect
