Looking for any suggestions to take a path on a svg and drill holes

Looking for any suggestions to take a path on a svg and drill holes to a set depth along that path at a set interval. Making a dotted path of holes. Thanks for any suggestions you have.

hmm… that’s an interesting question. i don’t know the answer, but if you had a macro for the drill operation, it seems like you could travel along the path and then execute the macro. But, I’m guessing your best bet is to just do the same thing in inkscape and apply the drill holes along the path and then use those marks to apply the drill operation in cam.

Thanks everyone this looks like it will work just fine.

@Adam_Riggs1 Maybe not 100% related but CamBam has an very nice option to offset fill geometry with holes. …the problem is that the tinyG seems to miss support for canned cycle drilling. Therefore I tend to use BlenderCam (http://blendercam.blogspot.no/) for drilling. The possibilities with bezier curves in Blender are infinite…
