Hello guys,
Looking for a way to fix (prevent movement on all directions) a linear bearing rod between 2 vertical faces.
I was thinking of using a screw to tighten it, but thinking may not be strong enough.
.
The surfaces is some 3D printed part.
Is there something i can put between the face and the rod to hold the all thing?
Thanks
dougl

on my makerbot they are all fit into plastic parts and the plastic parts are held in place with screws. If its a large diameter rod you could drill and tap the end and bolt to the end plates.

The rod will be 6mm, so just one screw on every side will be enough.
Thanks
I just saw this … Ball Screw End Supporter
But not sure it will still able to rotate itself.
