Last year I didn’t get my neopixels in gear in time for Christmas. However, I bought a couple of trees on sale in January and finally put the WS2811s on one of them this weekend. This is the Evil Genius Tree v2 by Jason Coon. Planning to put two of these in my front yard as soon as my wife says we’re close enough to Christmas.

Haha, we hit winter time, it’s dark way too late, I’d say we’re close enough to Xmas for this to be out 
(ok, normally you have to wait for thanksgiving to over, but this is nice enough that I wouldn’t)
