LaserWeb3 on 1mm thick (veg tan) Kangaroo Leather.
Reference images for power levels/speed settings/etc.
Raster, 3 variations tested:
- White 500, Black 400 - Result: Nice.
- White 500, Black 300 - Result: Nice, but a touch too dark & loses some of the lighter shades of grey.
- White 500, Black 500 - Result: Average.
Conclusion: White 500, Black 400 seems to be the better of the 3 in my opinion.
Cut test, to determine speeds required to cut through in 1 pass @ 6mA.
Tested from 35mm/s to 16mm/s (stepping down in 1mm/s decrements).
Seems that the highest speed that will effectively cut in 1 pass is 21mm/s. So, just to be safe (& avoid the odd loose fibre hanging on) I will run at 20mm/s for cuts.
