No, I never tried, but the backend should work correctly.
It’s not recmmended to run the frontend on a raspi. Instead run the frontend on a PC and only connect the backend over network. This is because the frontend needs a lot of ressources and CPU power.
You can use the normal installation for the frontend, or just open the embeded website from the server with a browser. Don’t froget to change the Server adress in the frontend (unter “comm” tab / “server connection”).
