Laser web is on the pi, only issue is its a little slow and we cant seem to get the comm channel to start automatically
I like the cutting bed design. Did you make this yourself or purchase it somewhere?
The bed is our own design, it will be available in custom sizes on kickstarter

@Bonne Wilce make sure any of this solutions live up to “what the customer will be expecting” or simply state very clearly that this is a 2 step process prepare on PC run from Pi
Is either that or just make sure the customer doesn’t expect it to be a desktop replacement
@Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty of course. But ideally we are working towards a standalone solution. But would of course say currently it is slow and complex tasks are best done on the computer and transfered via drive or usb

+Peter van der Walt the motherboard still needs ram cpu and power makes it a fair bit more than the other thing
Be careful of your selection. That alone will add another level of customer support and warranty. You sell laser not computers. People tend to overuse computers and that bring trouble. Cheap drop in replacement are easy. Just my 5 cent
@Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty completely agree with you. simply putting a PC inside would not work and have other issues. but a more powerful all in one computer. something like the pi but with more power.

+Peter van der Walt what are the all in one things? the pi may not be the best solution currently thats why we are thinking about trying our mini http://computers.at the very least the pi will be able to jog stop start and load files. but if we can get a more powerful solution and run the whole laserweb that would be perfect.
