Different lasers have different focal lengths and nozzle lengths. Do a ramp test to determine the size you need, then cut yourself a block of the right size.

The focal distance for my module is 33mm (without air assist nozzle). I know this from the documentation that came with it.
I cut the handle of a wooden spoon slightly oversize then sanded to correct length, the handle is a cheap ‘throwaway’ screwdriver that came with a kit or some apparatus.
I’d love to say that I carefully drilled a hole and glued the handle in place, but I didn’t. I simply used it like an awl and twisted it into the wood by hand until it was stuck.
