kickstarter printers have sunk to a new low....

+nick Parker the only appropriate response is “lol.” In all fairness I did notice the telescoping white pieces, but they were not shown in any videos. Additionally, I highly doubt the white pieces, which were printed, could hold the tight tolerances required for the z axis. Regardless, the whole thing felt very greasy and as if self proclaimed greasy experts were trying to barge into the market.

I know I’m not being nice but I don’t think things will improve if we hug everyone that starts a kickstarter with the intention to make a few bucks.

I just hope our g+ community was a contributing factor in ending their farce - @Nick_Parker good job stepping up, you beat me to it! Their response to your comment is classic - especially since I didn’t even see a nozzle specification anywhere in their advertising. They looked like they had an interesting side-infeed extruder - but I bet it only printed a first initial layer. I’m not sure what an “expert-engineer” is - but as they list none of their own qualifications (in terms of degrees or work experience) - I don’t think they are.

I found the CEO’s facebook, he’s a high school graduate. His girlfriend is very fond of cats.

Does she look like the chick in the video?

I was wrong, he’s studied at Wyotech and the University of phoenix.

As for the facebook my friend i’ve been laughing about this with on skype found him but he’s afk now. I found this Ben Mcdaniels in fort collins CO: http://www.facebook.com/ben.mcdaniel.798

Not 100% that it’s the right guy though, since there aren’t any cats.

I really want to add him for fun but I feel like that would be crossing a line.
