The one thing K40 owners Love to do is align their optical mirrors. To make the process a little easier here are a couple of guides to assist you.

If you use this guide I recommend using a sharpie marker to label your adjustment screws A,B,C as indicated in the guide, makes the adjustment recommendations easier to follow. I would love to see someone other than me try out the optical alignment tools I designed.
After completing the tools is took me minutes to do an alignment and it was spot on (pun) the first time.
