Just curious: does anyone here use Kiri:moto for CAM gcode generation?

I have CamBam but now use fusion360 for everything but laser.
Can’t beat LightBurn for laser cutters!

Today I discovered that kiri:moto has support for toolpathing with tapered mills. Since I just came up with an application for using tapered mills, my interest was piqued.

Oddly, it’s missing 3 of 5 identical pockets to clean out in this example.

I’m still deciding how to go about this one.

If it’s not too much trouble, I would like to see the settings you used for this.

My model doesn’t have the taper so I shouldn’t have told it that I was using a taper bit; I should have just told it I have a straight endmill and fudged the size to get the taper I want from that model. Or modified the model. But the weirdness was that it just didn’t follow two of the pockets, so I kept looking.

Are you saying these settings fixed your problem?

No. Those settings demonstrate the problem. I haven’t fixed it.
