Just completed a large version of the i3 so I have a build area

Hmm yeah I’m in the U.S. And forget sometimes that not everyone lives here haha. But best of luck regardless. Let me know if you need anymore help.

@Griffin_Paquette As a last ditch attempt I am back to the original USB cable but I expect no change

I honestly don’t think it’s the usb. But heck it’s worth a shot.

@Griffin_Paquette I don’t either but stranger things have happened

Especially with this hobby haha.

@Griffin_Paquette No printing this weekend, need to wait for the new board now, as expect USB did not help

A weekend isn’t bad. I had mine down for about 3 weeks when I really needed it because my mechanical switch autoleveling decided to not want to work anymore. Switched to using an aluminum plate and an inductive sensor and have had nothing but perfect first layers. It’s definitely a learning process this hobby…

@Griffin_Paquette New board arrived an just print 10 hours without an issue.

Just a late update on this, the true cause has been found, when I built the new printer I added a Max X end stop and that appears to be the problem as the new board also did this sometimes as well, disabled the Max X in firmware no no issues for months
