Interesting project… But I’m not sure the problem that its addressing? I misconnected a few jumper wires in my time but I am not sure that this is the answer to that problem. Unless you can somehow put in a say KiCAD circuit and the MCU will work out where to put the components in the prototype, and prompt the user?

Don’t think of it as a computerized breadboard. Think of it as a piece of test equipment that uses the classic breadboard layout because it’s a familiar interface for plugging in and connecting discrete components. It’s a RP2350B with a lot of on-board measurement capabilities.
