I’ve just posted this in a private business community on Google plus, I thought it was good enough to cut & paste straight into the various 3D Printing communities I am a member of hence the reason I have posted it here!
3D Printing is my passion. I have built three different types of 3D Printers. I am currently building 2 more; a giant printer with a build area in cubic metres & another smaller one utilising a new type of frame construction.
I have in mind a design for a future printer which will be 10 times faster than current fused filament fabrication printers on large build areas. It also has the potential to print with many different materials simaltaniously.
For my day job I run an electronic repair shop in Reading Berkshire, mostly repairing TV xbox laptops playstation, but what I really like repairing is something like an item which came in this week, a nineteen sixty’s era english made radio tuner.
We also sell electronic goods and others, and employ a unique layaway selling system which basically has no charges and no penalties, it’s very popular!
We have a 3D Printer in the shop working most days if you ever want to come and see one. I would recommend calling first to make sure the printer is available before you call in. You are welcome anytime you are passing to call in for a chat or just a look round.
