It’s been months since I have had time to work out in the shop. I’m finally getting back to my R7 1500x1500 beast. I didn’t have any tables suitable for putting it together on, and I didn’t want to half ass it on this project since I think this will be the final size for this project.
So last fall I bought the steel to start on this (haha) and just tonight I got it welded up. 1500mm is really big- like 5 feet. Table dimensions are 60"x96"

Yeah, @Alex_Krause , I tacked in the cross pieces when it was upside down, and flipped it over and used a “straight edge” and large hammer so at least they are close.
I plan on using 2 layers of plywood for the top. I salvaged an old full size atx case for the electronics… more to come…
That looks fun! Looking forward to seeing the final table. I just finished a folding r7 table. Will send photos soon.
