Is it possible to get slic3r to lift the nozzle the height of the first layer before printing?
Should i just do this with custom G-Code?
I just updated a 6 month old install and i am having trouble getting to grips with the new version!!
is Z offset what i need?
Yes. Z offset effectively raises z0, except manual commands when paused can still move it below this new z0
It already lifts the nozzle by the height of the first layer. Why do you need to lift it more?
