Is it me or is this just a MendelMax 2 clone with a Buda, fancy marketing, and very nice apparent print quality?

It IS a derivative. They finally posted an attribution on their website. They dropped some marketing fun in the MendelMax user list… hilarious ensued.
Looks like a Prusa i3 Max, lol
EDIT- That’s a Mendel Max 2.0
Mendel Max 2.0 clone - but at a higher price point with cheaper parts. Let’s not get in to the legacy of the MM2 itself… Open source hardware is interesting…
@Ross_Hendrickson
Couldn’t find any mention of the MendelMax 2.0 anywhere, but I admit I only skimmed the site. They make it look like it is their own design apart from the Buda hot end. I find this dishonest.
@John_Driggers They don’t mention anywhere if this is a kit. I’m under the impression they’re selling completely assembled printers, which may explain the higher price. This would make it 50$ more than a fully assembled MM2.
I’ve got no problem with open source derivatives, even clones; nature of the beast. But in this case I really dislike the lack of attribution and the heavy-handed marketing that praises their own engineering prowess.
