Info on raster opt and how to preview/use filters

hi im just a bit confused and looking to understand the raster opt pushbutton and filters how are they previewed before you apply?

The Raster Opt Button just scales the image so the pixel size matches with the setting of “TOOL HEAD / BEAM DIAMETER”.
Unfortunately there is no preview for the filter options. You just see the result after generating the gcode.
I prefer to optimize images in Photoshop or Gimp, before I load them into LW.
