Hey folks! How about making an inexpensive desk organizer? 
I bought this chick watering bottle (the red tray is sold separately) at a Tractor Supply and cut the sealed end off at an angle. Made a little ‘X’ out of white cardboard so the pens and such don’t ‘slosh’ around. 
Really helped me organize my maker desk (inside joke, I only have one desk). 
That’s exactly the kind of reuse that sticks because the shape already does half the job. The little cardboard divider is the smart part too; without it the pens would just lean into one big clump. If it slides around, a strip of shelf liner or a few rubber feet would probably finish it.
