In need of some help.

I have changed to boards manager to 1.6.9. Is this a known issues with Marlin and the Arduino newest board manager?

This post is a bit long, would you mind editing it so this stuff is all in a pastebin link? Also, try different versions of Arduino. 1.6.5 for example. Sometimes new versions of arduino break things. You may have to go further back than that, to a version before the boards manager existed.

The newest builds of arduino have been crap for me as well. I’ve had files that were perfectly fine with older builds and didn’t even compile in the newer versions. Try a different version of arduino

I only use 1.0.6 IDE. You can download it as a zip file and you do not need to install it. Newer versions cause those errors.

It’s a known problem with arduino, board package/IDE mismatch. https://github.com/arduino/Arduino/issues/4670

Upgrade IDE version or downgrade AVR board package.

Just as a note, Marlin 1.1 RC6 NEEDS the latest version of IDE. You cannot compile it with anything less than 1.6.7*. I’ve just checked with a fresh copy of marlin and 1.6.8 and it compiled fine.

Also as @ThantiK says. Pastebin is your friend…

Happened to me, I uninstalled Arduino and Installed the absolute latest (stable) version and it was fixed. Did seem to be some kind of mismatch between the board manager (it started after that updated something) and the compiler.
