There is no link for me to give you…and there is no premade strip. Skunk Works type stuff.
The 4mm strip is cool and all and I can think of a ton of uses for it. But can you please explain what the 10mm strip is? Look like a white LED with a yellow phosphor blob. But that’s only covering half the package. Is that a RGBW strip with 5050s on a 1-wire protocol? Where can I buy this?
Those are indeed RGBW digital LEDs that speak the WS2812 protocol (they use the SK6812 controller).
I could really use a thinner strip for a project I am starting. Any thoughts on this seller/item: http://www.pixel-leds.com/products/235-4MM-60-LED-SK6812mini-SMD3535-RGB-pixel-LED-strip.html ? It looks like they’ll work fine with FastLED, and they are likely compatible with WS2811, but I’d like to use FastLED + OctoWS2811 since I’ll have a ton of strips. Has anyone ordered these and used them?
Those look like the same ones that we stock (http://shop.blinkinlabs.com/collections/frontpage/products/4mm-wide-led-strip-white), and they use the SK6812 IC, which works fine with FastLED. I haven’t tested them with OctoWS2811, but the protocol is basically the same (they’re a clone of the WS2812).
The super thin strips are quite a bit more fragile than the regular width ones, though, so if your project requires any sort of repetitive bending you might be better off with a wider one :-). These ones are great when you absolutely need something that thin, but probably not otherwise.

I was able to pay with PayPal and they showed up in a week to California. I just tested all 5 strips and none are DOA. They seem reasonably well made.
Usually,SK6812MINI is 5V,i hear there is 12V SK6812MINI named SKC6809MINIHV-4P.If use SKC6809MINIHV-4P,The less voltage drop,you don’t power supply both sides and can be connected longer.
