Been struggling with this for years. I do my dxf conversions in ABViewer… I use OB almost exclusively. Every so often my engraver will cut the image in reverse.
No rhyme or reason. I then have to reverse the image in ABViewer and re-convert so the image shows up reversed in OB. Then it cuts it properly. I have tried reversing the xy axis to no avail. Using GRBL 1.1F. Maybe someone else has the problem and help me solve it. Thanx for your time.
The only GRBL thing that could do this is the $3 setting option (invert mask).
Ive no idea what OB is (some sort of image editor?), but if ABViewer produces the gcode I would look at that, maybe it sends $3 commands if it thinks an image is reversed? Or does the inverting itself. Look for ‘mirror’ options.
