I’m thinking about a belt conversion. I’m not being able to get quality prints for the pinion gear and it might be a good choice (I think).

I do I choose the belt? Any ideas?

I would just buy a metal pinion gear from your local hobby shop. I’m pretty sure it’s in a standard pitch.

No, most pinions have a grub screw that tightens down on the flat part of the motor shaft.
