I'm looking for web-based 3D DAM (Digital Asset Manager).

I’m looking for web-based 3D DAM (Digital Asset Manager).
Something like Pixelapse (https://www.pixelapse.com/) but for 3D.

It should have:

  • version control
  • content preview (thumb and 3D/webgl)
  • upload/download
  • stl / obj formats
  • permission control
  • content details

Nice to have:

  • mobile compatible
  • versions changes comparison
  • annotations and comments on content
  • similar search
  • fork content
  • other industry formats
  • integration with space providers (gdrive, box, dropbox, etc…)
  • integration with other DAMs or ECMS
  • integration with industry apps (blenders, etc…)
  • integration with 3d printers

Can anyone share links of something even remotely close to this ?
Or any project that is in development ?

Thank you in advance

Did you have a look at grabcad?

Check out echo3D (https://www.echo3d.com/). I think that’s exactly what you’re looking for. It’s a web-based 3D DAM for 3D models and digital twins that support all 3D file formats including stl and obj and has version control, similarity search, permission contorls, and asset linking.

Hi @koren_grinshpoon! This is content that was imported to Maker Forums from Google+ when Google shut down Google+ (thus the gplus label), and the users you are trying to converse with have not yet logged into Maker Forums, so they won’t get notification of your question, sadly.

An open source web-based DAM has recently been under development:

Love the name too. I was just repairing some non-manifold parts yesterday.
