I’m looking for a extra large format machine to use at a museum here in Kentucky, USA. It needs to produce up to 14’ beams (which can be parted & done off-site), so it can either by Blackbelt-style infinity bed or just a huge delta like what @SeeMeCNC1 has. I reached out to both, no calls back yet
There’s also a cool idea that maybe all our extra large format users (2 foot plus) could come together for this one. Sorta like a collab but I’m just worried about shipping costs
What about the 1m³ Big Rep? https://bigrep.com/bigrep-one/
If you have a high ceiling you could try a hangprinter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZLtPFJEQi0&disable_polymer=true
@Ben_Van_Den_Broeck I am in beta phase of my BigOne right now, when do you need the parts?
@Marc_Pentenrieder Nice build man, where are you located? We’re in Kentucky, USA
I am from Germany.
Ah ok, logistics would be too expensive. Sorry.
I know, I thought you are from the Netherlands, because of your name. No prob, I will look forward to see the finished model.
Yes! First time that’s happened to me the other way around. It’s always like “you’re not from around these parts” in the states. Thanks for reaching out.
How wide do you need it? Printrbot’s Printrbelt machine essentially a scaled down Blackbelt.
Edit: I guess Printrbot is no longer selling it. Still might want to contact @Brook_Drumm
I’m still testing the printrbelt. I have a new design for the Big-E v2 I need to post
Brook
@Brook_Drumm you want a very public test? This is a pretty fun project.
Sorry! Last thing I need is a deadline the big-e remains a passion and I donut for fun. I’ll publish plans and build one… then wait to see if it gets any community love.
@Brook_Drumm I understand! Do your thing Brook, this also just fell into my lap so I’m doing what I can!
