im looking for a 3d scanner that will also take photos of and apply them to the object. im looking for a 2’x2’ area at the largest, and it needs to be rather speedy. Anyone know of something like this?

what about cubify’s 3d sense? It’s 400 dollars, does up to 10’ by 10’ and captures both images and the geometry and overlays them. I ordered mine the 2nd week available (Nove 22nd I think) but it has yet to ship.
If you already own a Kinect, there’s plenty of free software available like Faro scenect. It maps the color images to the 3d point cloud
