I’m finding that my printer vibrate too much when printing object that has many turn in a very short distance. my instict is right away I need to decrease xy acceleration but I would appreciate everybody’s opinion which one to decrease and by how much? thx
I changed default acceleration down to 1000 and default xyjerk down to 4. Seems ok now. I think a better solution might actually be looking for better way of supporting the printer to the table…
What firmware do you use?
I had the same problem when I was using Marlin. Whatever I tried, I couldn’t get small movements to behave.
After I inserted Repetier firmware into the equation, almost all problems disappeared. Probably has something to do with the large mass of the XY-assembly, and the slightly different way Repetier does things.
