Im changing to direct drive gear with 1.75mm , anyone know how to calculate the new e-step? Thank you

wow, thats quick, just to clarify, if i want to use 3mm i just multiply by 400 instead of 200?

Steps/mm doesn’t change when you change filament diameter because measures the length of filament only. Most 3mm extruders are geared, so the gear ratio would also have to be in the calculation above, but for direct-drive the gear ratio is 1.

ah i see, we enter the filament size in the slicer, got it
