I’m building my first 3d printer in my spare time, it’s a RepRap G1 from Mixshop it has like a million pieces, I hope no problems will arise at this point, calibration is my main concern.

Man that is a PRETTY purple. Also, calibration is pretty much ongoing, you’ll learn a bunch in the meantime. Just pay attention that everything aligns right, use a set of digital calipers or a set-length shim to keep everything the same distance apart.
