I posted some time ago a link to a more home-made bolt using a Dreamel.
Yeah I made a few before with two printed mounts that held 608 bearings, screwed into a piece of wood, and I held the tap in a power drill. I also made heater barrels by with my drill press, which was far from efficient. Eventually I got fed up with using the wrong tool and put a lathe on my xmas list.
