Idea for improvement: raster direction. Similar to climb vs convention pocket milling. Give the operator a raster direction choice start at the top and raster down or start at the bottom and raster up… since most the air in enclosed CO2 lasers is being drawn to the back of the machine you will have better results of some rasters cutting over your smoke redeposit.this is good for deep logo engraves that you want to see the grain of a wood and will save post process cleanup
Good idea that way the movement could push the some but I belive the reason the industry does not do it that way is that the X axis is lighter to move fastee
I still want it to raster along X… just start along Y at the front of the machine and move backwards… instead of starting at the Back of the machine and move forwards…
