I'd love to build the Truggy,

I’d love to build the Truggy, but I’m not sure where to source the non-printable parts from since I’m in the US. In addition: do I need shielded bearings, sealed bearings, etc?

I know most people nowadays are building the F1 car but I’d much rather have a Truggy as it seems more capable.

You can buy a complete bearing kit for the Truggy here:

@Roger_Tornstrom Thanks! That’s actually quite helpful.

It’s possible, check some of my posts. I built one recently. There is also a google sheet I created which should help.

I do have more questions about the other parts - for example, ball joints are quite literally “Ball Joints” in the BOM with no other information.

Screws and nuts shouldn’t be too bad.

What’s a good source for the pins, McMaster-Carr?

Lastly, I still need a source for the CVD shafts - I found some on the Hobbyking website, but I’ve no idea if they’re suitable for use on this project: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/centre-drive-shaft-cvd-117mm-complete.html (The page listing is indeed 118mm, but the URL is 117mm. Not sure why.)

Check out this build on thingiverse, I think this is the build I will follow
