I was trying to start a print that used up my whole print bed. But theres sections where the filament doesnt stick at all. Would this be an issue that mesh leveling could fix? Im using a Prusa i3 MK2S
If the points are not recognized as deviations by the probe points, then no. Essentially what it does is create a mesh based on those points, so any outliers between or outside points are not known to the printer. The Mk2S has mesh automatically no?
Lots of people have a similar issue with 3 point. One point might be skewed and throw the entire plane off, or a high or low point might be somewhere inside the plane and throw the whole thing for a loop.
You can’t know what you don’t test, so your printer most likely has no idea that certain little spots might not be high enough. It’s rather dependent on where the probe point is relative to the spots.
XYZ calibration seemed to fix it. It took a good 5 to 10 minutes going over the points over and over again lol
