I’ve improved the modular end effector to allow Bowden or direct drive (#Flex3Drive G4)

I’ve improved the #Carbonoid modular end effector to allow Bowden or direct drive (#Flex3Drive G4) setups from a single design. This is V7 of the end effector design. In order to test the design, I’ve upgraded my #OpenBeam #KosselPro from V5 to V7. I hopefully get the design published in the next days. Currently I have hot end adapters ready for #J-Head and #E3D hot ends. The #Flex3Drive extruder is not open source, needs to be purchased separately and is not part of this design (but is a great and highly recommend upgrade for this end effector). Various filament fan duct designs from older end effector iterations are compatible with V7 but I will also share the new fan duct design for the #Pabst blower fan. I hopefully find the time to write a blog post on http://carbonoid.de describing the steps and additional parts needed to build your own end effector. But the fotos should document the process quite nicely:

I love that you are still calling this an OpenBeam Kossel Pro…

Just was thinking about them the other day - I still have 2 original kits that have yet to be built. You may have inspired me to build one with some of your upgrades.
