I’ve asked this before but what is a good 3D printer under 1k for a first printer.

The easiest printer to assemble and use is the JG Aurora A5 for $365.00USD from http://GearBest.com

The Prusa are around $600-700 iirc

Second the Prusa. If your budget is as broad as under $1000, there’s nothing but the Prusa Mk3 that’s worth it.

Also prusa. The monoprice mini 3 is a fantastic printer for $200, but if you have a $1K budget, the Prusa is the right choice.

I’d stick with the Prusa MK3 that is well supported for your first printer.
I have many kits from GB, Flsun, Tronxy Creality (same parts), Geeetech and a few others.
Each have their issues & strong points.
I build mostly cubes but they take work to learn and tune.https://plus.google.com/photos/

Check out buildtek. Amazing results

Prusa mk3 is great

Yup, Prusa MK3. Great printer and service for the price.

Prusa mk3 is the best value hands down.
