I thought it would be fantastic to mount a pi display who have a resolution 800x480 on the laser cutter im building. But the webpanel dont work so well on this.
Is it any thoughts on making a small screen touch gui?

Sorry for bad english, its not mine native language, but im awsome in norwegian

You can use the Pi as LaserWeb host connected iniside the machine and use a cheap chinese tablet as display outside, much better resolution. I use an Onda V80 Plus win 10 tablet, $80.

PS. An OrangePiPC is a good deal too. $24 on ali including shipping. Quadcore cpu, 8gb emmc and wifi. Perfect LW host :slight_smile:

+Peter I have one opipc for my laser, one opi lite for my 3d printer and another opipc on order for my latest 3040 cnc toy :slight_smile: I also have a BananaPI M1 with native sata + ssd as OpenHAB host. As long as you are not affraid to use a FTDI and find your way around bash prompt they are some great cheap servers.
