I need to print Thor’s swords from Thor ragnarok in preparation for the movie. Any recommendations on filament?
What colour? My goto is always Hatchbox PLA, but some people complain about poor winding (it’s kind of bad, but if your printer is in view for the duration of the print you should be safe).

@Cristian_Martinez I wouldn’t trust that cover shot. It looks like they photoshopped it to have colours mimiking comic books. It’s probably a steel colour.
They look bluish in the movie trailer as well. I was thinking of just spray painting them but idk what blue color to look for lol
@Cristian_Martinez If that’s the case, get a blue tinted clear coat with a dark silver base (maybe even antique pewter).
Hmmm. Interesting. Ill give that a shot. I guess ill just buy a few rolls of white PLA and sand them down lol
Use some filler primer. It’ll give you a nice smooth surface after sanding with that. Rustolium makes it.
