I met Billy Zelsnack  at  2015 -- He's got a really solid machine.

I met @Billy at #MRRF 2015 – He’s got a really solid machine. Keep an eye on it. There’s a lot of really cool (unique) things on this machine that I haven’t seen done elsewhere like the delrin/acetal sliding carriages that are internal to the T-slot.

Keep in mind, he keeps his Kickstarter campaigns really small, so that he doesn’t fail them like a lot of these other places tend to do when they overreach. So it’s first-come, first-serve. This is one of those that I can confidently say that if you get it from kickstarter, you will receive it.

Ok. I have the 1st draft of the complete campaign ready now. Start from the landing page and then…

PREPARE TO BE TALKED AT.

I self-rate it as an 11% improvement over my first campaign! haha.

It seems odd to not have a heated bed, at least as an option.

Have registered.

@Mark_Wheadon I don’t include electronics or power supply either.

Because the bed on a delta does not move it is a lot easier situation to deal with. Earlier designs were much smaller machines so I had a magnetically attached removable bed. Now with a 10" diameter bed there is so much room to maneuver that it really is not necessary anymore.

The glass mirror is mounted with double-sided foam tape pads. Easy to put on. Does not wiggle. A tiny bit of vertical give. If you do want to take it off for some reason you can easily split the outer pads with your print spatula and twist to split the inner pad.

As for heated beds there are a few flavors and they all mount different ways so it’s difficult to support all of them. Though having a nice non-moving flat surface to work with along with some nice channel options for routing wires gets you pretty far.

The top and bottom plates are identical and you have plenty of room to do whatever you want. http://reprap.org/wiki/Polygondelta2060_SourceRelease_feb2016_newplates
(I’ll be cleaning up my release in the near future)
